Fouad Khlat, Eng., MBA

Managing Partner

Fouad is a civil engineer with an MBA. He has amassed 30+ years of ICT industry experience in Sales Management, Channel Management and Professional Services Delivery. 

Prior to co-founding Sapientus, he held key regional and global roles, primarily in the GCC, with multinationals such as Apple, Intergraph and Cisco Systems. Given his unequivocal regional knowledge, as an Executive and Senior Manager, he played a central role in driving Corporate Vision, Strategy and Execution Plans.

His leadership skills have been pivotal in driving transformational initiatives working with Digital Transformation, Datacenter Managed Services, IT Consultancy, Cyber Security, Big Data, Smart Cities and IOT. He influenced decision making in many verticals such as Public Sector, Oil & Gas, Smart & Connected Communities, Education and Healthcare. 

Fouad’s proven track-record in building and leading large, cross-functional, technical and business teams sets him apart in providing practical advice to clients and forging high-performing environments.

Maha Hurayki, Eng., MSc.

Managing Partner

Maha is an electrical engineer with a rich international background in Information Technology and Business Intelligence. She also has a Master’s degree in Big Data and Data Analytics, enriching her technical skills to encompass data science, AI and Machine Learning tools and techniques.

Prior to co-founding Sapientus, she worked for over 20 years on the client-side as the Director of different IT and BI departments. Most recently, she consulted on various IT and BI projects for leading institutions across the Middle East. 

In all her roles, she has been an advocate of data and informed decision making, and has accumulated industry-specific knowledge of the Higher Education, Utilities, Transportation and Public sectors, delivering solutions in the areas of Technology Infrastructure, Process Optimization, Information Life Cycle Management, and Business Intelligence. Most prominently, her work in Higher Education has had a direct impact on advancing government policy to improve country-wide education programs.

She has also tackled analytics-related case studies in various industries such as marketing, retail and consumer goods, telecommunications, airlines, health institutions, financial services, risk and fraud, smart cities and governments, natural language processing and so forth.
